Zain Bahrain Announces Rising Stars Initiative

Zain Bahrain has announced the Rising Stars initiative which seeks to make a difference to the lives of young people organised by Lights Camera Fashion, Business Network Event Company.
The event will have a Bahraini motivational surprise guest speaker and Jannah Babar age 12 who will inspire our guests with their inspirational stories.”Mentoring and empowering youth is part of Zain Bahrain’s CSR Criteria, Rising Stars event fits the bill,” said Corporate Communications Manager, Samya Hussein.

“It combines serious mentoring of young entrepreneurial spirit with a lot of glamour and fun. It also serves a great CSR cause of supporting people – especially youngsters – with special needs. Zain Bahrain is delighted to support the cause,” she added.

The event will be held at the RIA centre in Adliya on 5th March 2013 from 4-8 PM. Entry is on a first-come basis with a unique ‘pay as you wish” policy. the event will be fun and enjoyable; bring a T-shirt, write acaption on it describing your aspirations and enter the ‘paint your dream t-shirt’ competition. The t-shirt competition will be followed by a Young Persons poetry competition, entitle ‘Rising Stars’.

The judging panel includes Zain Telecommunications marketing manager Mrs Samya Hussein, Hamra Alam co-founder of Lights Camera fashion and Mr Loay al Khaja from Masters International and MR Gragham Noughat of Mandevco International.

Along with opportunities to meet business leaders, entrepreneurs and others, there will be a fashion walk by young people both able and disabled showcasing their works of art created on the same day of the event.

Up to 40% of the Proceeds from the charity donations will go to the the Wafa Centre, Mr Ali Al Oliwi from i4blind.com and the children of the RIA (Rehabilitation institute and Autism).
